“Most organizations are desperate for advice, data, and information on best practices in sales and business development,” said Fred Diamond, co-founder of IES&BD and president of DIAMOND Marketing. “Organizations continually try to figure out how to get it right when it comes to hiring, prospecting, qualifying, and closing. These awards acknowledge the corporations and organizations that are getting it right.”
Diamond also said that one of the goals of the awards program is to build databases of best practices and thought leadership.
Also at the event, the annual Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to Federal Business Development legend Robert Guerra.
Guerra, the executive vice president of Guerra Kiviat, Inc., will be recognized with the 2011 IES&BD Lifetime Achievement Award.
