SPRINGVILLE, Utah, March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — In the fast-growing Taiwan market, Neways recently held a celebratory weekend event to recognize successful distributors and announce additional growth plans in the nation.
“Since we got started in Taiwan about two and half years ago, we’ve experienced some of Neways’ most dynamic growth we’ve ever seen,” said Brian Slobodow, President and Chief Operations Officer. “We announced an expansion of our Taipei showroom and a new showroom in the southernmost city of Kaohsiung.”
Located in a recently built town center near a landmark arena, Kaohsiung’s new showroom will open on March 20, with Neways CEO Scott St. Clair attending the grand opening. “The opening of the Kaohsiung showroom will help our distributors develop their Neways businesses in southern Taiwan,” said Julia Ku, Neways’ managing director in Taiwan. Neways is the first multi level marketing company to open a showroom in this major town center.
As part of the recent event, Brian Slobodow and several local Neways distributors ran in Taipei’s city-sponsored marathon, which raised funds for charity. Neways was the 17th-largest group participating in the race, which involved more than 30,000 total participants. Most of the Neways runners ran the nine-kilometer race, while Slobodow was the only Neways representative who finished the entire 42-kilometer marathon.
“In Taiwan, we’ve been sprinting our way to success,” said Slobodow. “With these new and expanded showrooms and other investments in long-term growth, we’re gearing up to run a marathon here in Taiwan. Neways is here to stay, and we’re here to win. When our distributors win, the company wins too.”
