Team 4Life: World Series Home Run

Post Rating:

Salt Lake City, Utah (October 29, 2010) On Thursday, October 28, Team 4Life® member and San Francisco Giants shortstop Edgar Rentería scored the first run of game two in the World Series with a home run during the bottom of the fifth inning. The Giants rallied on to a 9-0 shutout over the Texas Rangers.

Renteria had a strong game defensively in game one and continued to make valuable contributions to his team during game two. Along with his home run, Rentería had three RBIs. He has been a strong World Series performer throughout his career, making this his third appearance overall. In 1997, Rentería hit in the winning run of the World Series and was named “Man of the Year” by Colombia’s El Espectador newspaper.

Rentería is a member of Team 4Life, a group of world-renowned athletes who endorse 4Life Transfer Factor® products. Like the best professional athletes, Rentería is serious about peak performance and the role supplementation plays on and off the field. “I take 4Life RiteStart every morning and Energy Go Stix before every game,” he said during an interview at the Beachside Marriott Courtyard in November of 2009. Rentería has been a consumer of 4Life Transfer Factor products for more than three years.

4Life President Steve Tew: “It’s great to watch Edgar excel on and off the field. He’s a sterling example of someone who has persevered to achieve his dreams and inspires all of us in the process.”
