Agel Enterprises LLC is a $150 million company that specializes in providing vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients in a gel form to be sold in a person to person marketing style.

Agel was incorporated in March of 2005 in Provo, Utah by founder Glen Jensen. Jensen came up with his idea in late 2004 based on thoughts of how athletes ingest large amounts of carbohydrates through gel.  Jensen decided he wanted to provide more than just carbohydrates to clients through an easily transferable form, according to the Agel website.

Agel’s products are almost all natural and their website claims they can reduce wrinkles, make your hands soft, improve digestive stimulation, and even alleviate joint pain caused by daily activity.

HOW IT WORKS:

According to information on the company’s website, Agel essentially mashes minerals, fruits, and other nutrients and adds sodium benzoate to attain a gel form.  They also add synthetic taurine, a popular addition to energy drinks that can lower blood pressure but has little effect in standard doses, as naturally occurring taurine is extracted from bile.

Agel strongly advises consulting with a physician before: taking medications that increase serotonin levels, giving Agel MIN or FIT to children, using Agel products while nursing, or before consuming four or more Agel products a day.

Agel houses over 130 employees and is sold in over 10 different countries.

I really wanted to start up with this company but I couldn’t afford their kit. It would have been way better if they gave people sample versions of their starter pack to sell. Or maybe even a loan of products on credit. It’s hard to sell something that you believe in when you can’t afford the product to show people.
